Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana‑Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life‑changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care. This position supports the research labs by performing a range of tasks that enable the team to focus on scientific discovery.

• Facilitate research operations by coordinating or carrying out tasks related to equipment, material stocks, facilities, and shipping and receiving.
• Support shipping and receiving for the group or department.
• Assist with the maintenance of laboratory stocks, including plasticware and glassware.
• Prepare media and perform other special research operations support as required.
• Assist financial coordinators on matters related to purchasing, shipping and receiving.
• In wet labs, clean and dispose of laboratory waste; autoclave reagents and waste.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of glassware and plasticware stocks.

The position prefers a high school diploma or GED. Strong English reading and speaking skills are highly desirable. Candidates should be capable of handling glassware and using autoclaving equipment. Prior work experience demonstrating reliability and the required skills is preferred.

Will report to Research Operations Coordinator or group administrator. Operates under general supervision with well-established guidelines for the majority of duties.

$36,500.00 - $43,300.00. For union positions, pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
