Allied Universal is currently hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Facility in Boston, MA.
Position Type:Full Time
Pay Rate: $25.88 / Hour
Job Schedule- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11 PM – 7 AM

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using appropriate judgement and training.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including exterior and interior areas, to deter unauthorized activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to maintain awareness of potential threats.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required.
- Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or unusual situations, following established procedures specific to the government location.
- Valid concealed carry weapons permit.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
