As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients, helping to deter security‑related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You’ll Do:
  • Welcome and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk of the healthcare location, providing excellent customer service while following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials and/or issuing visitor passes as required, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, following appropriate emergency response protocols and escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of visitor logs, incidents, and other security‑related activities as directed by Allied Universal and site‑specific guidelines.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate resources within the location.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff in maintaining a secure environment by remaining alert to unusual activity and reporting concerns through the proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
