** Job Summary
** Responsible for ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff by patrolling the premises, monitoring security systems, and responding to security incidents.
-Conduct regular patrols of the healthcare facility, including interior and exterior areas, to detect and deter security breaches, vandalism, theft, or any suspicious activities.
-Maintain a visible presence and provide a sense of security by being approachable and proactive in addressing security concerns.
-Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to identify potential security threats or breaches.
-Report any security-related incidents, hazards, or policy violations promptly to appropriate personnel.
-Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring that only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
** Qualifications
* * Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Yes Licenses and Credentials Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Experience Experience in security operations, preferably in a healthcare or similar setting. 2-3 years preferred Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
- Strong observation and situational awareness skills to identify potential security threats or hazards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels, including patients, visitors, and staff. - Ability to remain calm and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations. - Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid techniques. - Familiarity with security systems, such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Physical fitness and the ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
