** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.

+ Maintain required armed-post qualifications, carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws and Allied Universal policies, and complete accurate activity and incident documentation.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

+ Meet hospital vaccination requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
