As a Carpenter, a typical day might include the following:

• Assisting with the buildout and installation of retail fixtures, display cases, counters, wall panels, and other custom carpentry elements
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
• Working closely with the project management and design teams to bring brand vision and layout plans to life
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
• Installing millwork, trim, shelving, and flooring elements in accordance with design specifications
• Helping maintain clean, organized, and safe work sites during all phases of the buildout
• Traveling to various retail locations as needed to complete projects on-site
• Collaborating with contractors and vendors when necessary to complete construction phases on schedule
• Other duties as assigned

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:

• 1-2 years of carpentry experience in retail, commercial, or high‑end residential environments is preferred
• Willingness to travel to job sites and work flexible hours as needed
• Ability to read construction documents and follow technical specifications
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of framing, finish carpentry, and cabinetry installation
• Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in retail buildouts
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented with a strong work ethic

Travel required both within and outside of the New English area.

• May be required to lift or move up to 80 lbs using proper lifting techniques and withstand long hours on your feet in a fast‑paced, high energy environment
• Non‑typical office hours may be requested in order to meet deadlines including evenings, weekends, and holidays
