Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs, conducting inspections, and managing maintenance-related tasks, which includes the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment. The ideal candidate will be well verse in general commercial maintenance upkeep, which includes the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment and fixtures.
Compensation: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour (Based on Experienced), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k
Available Shifts: 10:00am - 6:30pm. Days off to be Determined.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine repairs on HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
- Assist with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC duties and assigned.
- Drywall repair, framing, painting, carpentry, and other general repair duties
- Conduct inspections and assessments of facility systems to identify potential issues and perform corrective actions.
- Assist with snow removal when necessary, during winter months.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide insights into equipment performance and customer service needs to achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Participation in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge base.
- Must have at least 2-years of commercial facility maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components strongly preferred.
- Must be well versed in the following general maintenance functions: light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, drywall repair, and painting.
- Familiar with CMMS software for effectively managing maintenance tasks, strongly preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria.
