Skilled an Unskilled VolunteeringAnyone can volunteer to help. You will get assignments and training that fit with your experience and capabilities. From skilled tradespeople – carpenters, plumbers, electricians, roofers, and others – to the “weekend warriors” who love to work with their hands and energetic novices – all are welcome to join us and get the immense satisfaction of pitching in to preserve and protect our communities.

We appreciate volunteers who have homebuilding and construction skills, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, project management and we also appreciate unskilled workers who are willing to learn and help with various tasks on a work day. Our projects are both during the week and on weekends.
About usRebuilding Together Boston is the independent Boston affiliate of Rebuilding Together, a national organization that renovates the homes of people unable to pay for essential home repairs and much-needed updates. Nonprofit organizations that own their own facilities are also eligible for Rebuilding Together Boston’s assistance with no cost to the recipients. Since its founding in 1991, Rebuilding Together Boston completed more than 520 renovation projects, often top-to-bottom major repairs for an estimated total value of more than $7 million.
The organization relies on financial support from individual contributors, foundations and corporations to carry out its mission.
