Fireproofing Sprayer / Applicator

$25–$35/hour based on experience | Full-Time | Year-Round Work | New England

We're looking for a Fireproofing Sprayer / Applicator to join our growing team and help protect commercial buildings, businesses, and the people who use them every day.

You'll work on commercial construction projects throughout New England, applying fire-resistant materials to structural steel, beams, columns, decks, and other building components.

And you don't need to be a career fireproofing professional to apply.

If you have experience with paint spraying, spray foam insulation, specialty coatings, or construction, we'd love to talk to you. We'll provide the training and support to help you grow your skills in fireproofing.

• Apply spray-applied fireproofing materials to structural beams, columns, decks, and other building components
• Operate fireproofing pumps, paint pumps, mixers, hoses, and related equipment
• Set up, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
• Apply materials to the required thickness while minimizing overspray and material waste
• Work safely from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding
• Read plans, specifications, and spray charts as needed
• Perform quality checks to ensure proper coverage, thickness, and adhesion
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and job-ready
• Work alongside a team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and with pride

We're looking for people who are dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 2+ years of experience in fireproofing, commercial painting, spray foam insulation, specialty coatings, or construction
• Experience operating spray equipment is a plus
• OSHA-10 certification, or willingness to obtain it
• Basic understanding of construction and job-site safety
• Ability to work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work on your feet and lift/move equipment throughout the workday
• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout New England
• A strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude

New to fireproofing but have spraying or construction experience? Apply anyway. We are willing to train the right person.

Competitive Pay — $25–$35/hour
