As a Coffee & Espresso Field Service Engineer, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate premium commercial espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, water filtration systems, and related beverage equipment throughout New England.

This role combines mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting, customer service, and problem-solving into a rewarding career where no two days are the same.

You will represent Northeastern Coffee Equipment with professionalism while ensuring every customer receives reliable equipment performance and exceptional technical support.

• Install and commission commercial espresso and coffee brewing equipment
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, hydraulic, plumbing, and mechanical issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service visits
• Repair commercial espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, and beverage systems
• Configure machine programming and calibration to manufacturer specifications
• Document service work accurately using digital service software
• Maintain inventory of replacement parts and company tools
• Educate customers on equipment operation and preventative maintenance
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
• Collaborate with internal technical support and operations teams
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer certification and technical training

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys technical challenges, works independently, and takes pride in providing first‑class service.

• 3+ years of commercial coffee or espresso equipment service experience
• Experience servicing brands such as:
• La Marzocco
• Nuova Simonelli
• Victoria Arduino
• Franke
• Eversys
• Curtis
• Fetco
• Bunn
• Mahlkönig
• Mazzer
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Electrical troubleshooting experience (120V/208V/240V equipment)
• Knowledge of plumbing, pumps, boilers, solenoids, pressure systems, and water filtration
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
• Experience using multimeters and diagnostic tools
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Professional communication and customer service abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
