PTC is a global team of nearly 7,000 employees working on cloud‑based CAD and collaboration tools. As an Onshape R&D Software Engineer, you will design and develop services and APIs that enable agile product development and empower mechanical engineering teams.

As an Onshape R&D Software Engineer, you’ll work in the Data Management team, creating services and APIs that streamline design and manufacturing processes.

• Strong foundation in computer science, data structures, and algorithms.
• 7–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Understanding of cloud‑native architectures.
• Experience with Mongo
  
  DB or another No
  
  SQL database.
• Experience building networked applications with Java or C#.
• Experience building and using RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Type Script and web UI development.

• Experience with PDM or PLM.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Salary range: $134,000 – $203,500 per year, plus performance‑based bonus. Employees may also be eligible for stock options through the Employee Stock Purchase Program and equity programs.
