SS&C Eze is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Eze OMS team based out of our Boston headquarters. Eze’s award‑winning Investment Suite features a set of integrated applications that provide best‑in‑class asset management functionality to streamline the investment lifecycle. Our applications can be combined together for a seamless front‑to‑back workflow, used standalone, or integrated with other third‑party systems. As a Software Engineer on the OMS, you will work on a team consisting of a Product Manager, QA, Scrum Master, and other Software Engineers.

• Provide technical leadership and mentor/coach other engineers.
• Develop high‑quality code on schedule, based on a technical design.
• Design and implement underlying data and domain models for applications and services to be scalable and maintainable.
• Identify improvements and participate in innovating our tools and services.
• Provide operational support for critical production issues.
• Master the domain knowledge and be the expert in the areas the team owns.

• 8+ Years of experience in programming and software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft .NET coding languages (C# experience preferred).
• Deep understanding of OOD/P and its application.
• Experience with API Architecting and Development.
• Experience with Public or Private Cloud Development.
• Proficient in SQL (SQL Server experience preferred).
• Experience providing technical leadership, design advice, and mentoring other engineers.
• Fluency in various Design Patterns. How to use them, why to use them, and when to use them.
• Fluency in algorithmic thinking and problem‑solving.
• Active interest in new technology and emerging engineering practices.

Salary/wage rate is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job‑related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions.
