Job DescriptionAs the Senior Engineering Manager for Patient and Participant, you will shape the scope and direction of our precision health initiatives. You will oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution, fostering innovation, and delivering impactful solutions that transform research into care.
Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and expand a team of 8‑10 software engineers.
- Drive project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to define and execute the team's strategic goals.
- Provide technical guidance and make critical decisions to meet project milestones.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on technical leadership and/or people management of at least 15 software engineers.
- Proven experience managing software engineering teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
- Strong expertise in software development methodologies and best practices.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD practices.
- Proven track record of building and leading high‑performing engineering teams.
The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $174,000–$247,000, plus bonus and benefits. Pay is determined by role, level, location, and individual qualifications.
