Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development in Python/Django and/or React for a travel‑related, web‑based product.

• Build and maintain integrations between our product and third‑party APIs.

• Design, implement, and test system architecture.

• Work within an Agile environment with a strong focus on well‑documented code, unit testing, and continuous integration.

• Mentor, coach, and train colleagues as a domain expert.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience building technically complex web products in any programming language.

• Expert‑level skills in server‑side, client‑side, or full‑stack development.

• Strong commitment to quality, unit testing, and code documentation.

• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and frameworks.

• Experience using AI coding tools such as Copilot or similar for development.

• Experience building AI‑powered product features using AWS, GCP, or OpenAI platforms.

• Experience with Node.js, Svelte, and Angular.

• Background in the Fin Tech industry.

• Dev Ops experience with the AWS suite.

• Experience working in high‑performing, Agile development teams.

• Enjoy building things and contributing to open‑source projects.

Compensation

Compensation for this role includes a base salary and stock options. The expected base salary range is $150,000 – $180,000 per year.

How We Work

Perk operates with an IRL‑first approach, collaborating in person three days per week. Therefore, this role requires you to live within commuting distance of one of our hubs. We strongly believe in face‑to‑face interactions to boost connection, productivity and creativity. For certain positions we can support relocation from anywhere in the world.
