Overview

Summary QuEra Computing is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join a fast-growing startup and help build the next generation of quantum computer management systems. In this role, you’ll contribute to our backend services written in Kotlin/Spring Boot and help shape and build our future user interface.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin/Spring Boot.

• Contribute to the frontend user interface using JavaScript/Type Script with modern UI frameworks (e.g., React or Vue).

• Collaborate with teammates, take ownership of features, and deliver high-quality software.

• Work with SQL and No

SQL databases and ensure robust, scalable data interactions.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and/or Kubernetes.

• Design and consume HTTP/RESTful web services.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional software development experience.

• Backend development experience in Kotlin, Java, or another object-oriented language, with an interest in using Kotlin.

• Frontend development experience with JavaScript/Type Script and modern UI frameworks like React or Vue.

• Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of ownership.

• Hands-on experience with SQL and No

SQL databases.

• Familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes.

• Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with distributed cloud-native architectures.

• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Experience with event streaming platforms like Pulsar, Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Kinesis.

• Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers.

• Exposure to UI/UX design principles or building developer-friendly tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python.

• Experience working in agile, scrum, or kanban environments.

• Experience or exposure to embedded development concepts.

• Quantum-curious, though not required.
