Overview

As Speechify expands, our AI team seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to ensure scalable infrastructure, optimize product flows, and build resilient systems. If you enjoy strategizing, high-paced environments, and ownership, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Develop state-of-the-art voice cloning technology

• Implement low-latency, cost-effective text-to-speech solutions

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• Proven experience in backend development with Python

• Experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers

• Efficiency in ideation and implementation, with prioritization skills

• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments

• Proficiency in deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes

• Preferred: experience deploying NLP or TTS models to production

Salary

The US base salary range for this full-time role is $140,000-$200,000 plus bonus and equity, depending on experience.
