Senior AWS AI Engineer

Location: Boston, MA

Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly – $75.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior AWS AI Engineer

At Client, the AI Engineering Team builds custom web applications using leading LLMs within secure Amazon Bedrock environments. The goal is to streamline business processes and deliver constituent value through responsible AI solutions. Data security and human-centered design are core principles in this highly regulated industry.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock and related AWS services.
• Explore opportunities to integrate AI into existing applications and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand and document business requirements.
• Ensure best practices in model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Complete AI COE artifacts and technical documentation for knowledge transfer and audit compliance.
• Participate in collaborative development using version control and CI/CD pipelines.

• 3‑5 years of experience in applications, AI/ML development, and implementation.
• 2 years of hands‑on experience with Amazon Bedrock and related AWS services.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks, model deployment, and optimization.
• Knowledge of application integration patterns and experience integrating into complex systems.
• Proficiency in React and Type Script for building AI‑powered user interfaces.
• Experience designing intuitive UI/UX for AI applications.
• Comfort with cloud‑based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Prior work in public sector or government projects.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements and security standards.
• AWS AI Cloud Practitioner certification (desired).
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
