The Data Automation team builds tooling that helps our Data Platform engineers provision and test infrastructure to power core Klaviyo functionality and generate data‑driven insights. As an engineer on this team, you will design, build, and maintain systems that support our mission‑critical analytics infrastructure, working with a cross‑functional team to design systems, create infrastructure, write high quality code, and operate large‑scale systems in production.

• Degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
• Strong communication skills

• Persistence in solving difficult problems
• Experience experimenting with AI and a desire to explore new AI tools responsibly

• Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in a cloud environment
• Experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC
Performance tuning and scaling system knowledge
• Experience with OLTP and OLAP databases
• Experience with high‑volume data processing and storage systems
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems

$120,000—$180,000 USD

Additional compensation may include a bonus plan, equity, sign‑on payments, and comprehensive health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
