Senior QA Engineer-INTL-India

Job Description

Insight Global is sourcing for a Senior QA Engineer to join a global consulting firm within the GenAI Product Portfolio. This position will be vital in efforts to strengthen our testing and automation capability across the portfolio. The role is focused on hands‑on automation, functional, and performance testing using Qmetry, Python, Pytest, Intelli

J, Neoload and Jira.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about quality, and proactive in identifying issues early and improving test efficiency. This is a technical, individual contributor role with opportunities to collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers. This is a fast paced environment, candidates should exhibit strong adaptability with a proven aptitude for quickly learning and applying new skills to project work.

This position will be a 6-month contract with opportunity for extension. Working schedule is roughly 10:00 AM IST to 6:30 PM IST Monday through Friday, sitting remote in India.

Skills and Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in QA (manual + automation).

• Strong hands‑on experience with QMetry

• Proven ability to develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using QMetry, ROBOT Framework and Python

• Good programming skills in Python for automation.

• Experience with Intelli

J IDEA for debugging and test execution.

• Working knowledge of Jira for test and defect management.

• Familiar with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, or similar).

• Experience validating UI, API, and end to end workflows for function accuracy

• Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
