Sports Instructor - Jr. Celtics Youth Sports Coach

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 / hour
DescriptionThe YMCA is searching for a sports instructor to lead a group of children ages 3 to 14 instructing sports classes. Classes are on weekday afternoons and weekend mornings. Candidate must possess excellent child/parent communication skills, expertise in a variety of sports and the ability to work independently.
POSITION SUMMARYThis position develops, organizes and implements the following YMCA programs: youth, teen and adult sports, preschool enrichment classes. This position reports to the Youth and Enrichment Director.
Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust.
