Position: Material Handler

Department: Distribution Center Operations

Location: Boston Warehouse (Walpole, MA)

Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 / hour

The Material Handler stores, ships, receives, and replenishes finished goods to fire sprinkler contractors by parcel, LTL, truckload, and/or private carrier.

• Responsible for all tasks associated with the shipping and receiving functions at a distribution center.
• Scan barcodes using a handheld scanner to deliver materials to the target location within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts, lift trucks, side loaders, pallet trucks, pickers and other loading/stacking equipment.
• Complete and maintain daily forklift inspection reports.
• Assist Will‑Call customers in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Report any deficiencies in inventory, equipment, safety issues, or concerns to the Warehouse or Operations Supervisor.
• Report backorders to the Customer Service Department.
• Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks safely and in compliance with all rules and procedures, using appropriate PPE and reporting unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• Knowledge of Reliable products, including part numbers, codes, and product descriptions.
• Well‑versed in warehouse, shipping, freight, and receiving functions.
• Ability to safely drive and operate lift trucks, side loaders, pickers, pallet jacks, and other loading/stacking equipment.
• Solid understanding of mathematics.
• Proficiency in WMS.

• High School Diploma.
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience.
