Onsite Coordinator I, Inventory & Material Mgmt
Join Avantor to work in the Advanced Laboratory Services team in Cambridge, MA. This role reports to the Territory Area Manager and focuses on customized, mission‑based lab work and research protocols, returning time to science.
Location: Cambridge, MA
Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hourly Rate: $28/hr – $30/hr

Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 1+ year equivalent in material handling, inventory replenishment, or customer service.
Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs minimum
- Facilitate orders for consumable lab inventory replenishment; enter orders into computer systems and Web portals
- Receive inbound shipments from UPS, Fed Ex and other carriers
- Handle hazardous material and prepare shipping documentation and packaging requirements
- Resolve shipping errors
- Manage customer warehouse inventory, including delivery product replenishment
- Perform inventory management functions such as monitoring slow‑moving and dead stock, cycle counting, yearly inventories, and reporting
- Coordinate shipping of customer material, including hazardous materials; answer customer calls; operate hand‑jack and forklift; enter shipping data into customer computer system and maintain safety inspections
- Interface with customer POC to manage consigned, non‑consigned, customer‑owned and third‑party inventory onsite at the customer location
- Utilize VWR and basic customer computer systems (ESS, Citrix, Info Access, Intranet, Stock Tracker, ChemSW, and customer specific ERP and shipping systems)
- Meet goals and objectives: safety, performance and quality
- Perform other duties as assigned

Pay TransparencyExpected pre‑tax pay: $50,000.00 – $87,500.00. Actual pay may differ based on experience and geographic location.
