Supervisor Shipping & Receving

Job Overview Supervises and schedules the shipping and receiving processes to ensure efficient handling, storage, transportation, and delivery of shipments and goods.

Your main tasks

Supervising warehouse staff and daily warehouse activities.

Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity.

Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.

Verifying orders, invoices, received items, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.

Maintaining records, preparing necessary documentation, and reporting relevant information.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining basic maintenance standards.

Conducting daily warehouse inspections.

Leading inventory management activities within the warehouse.

Coordinating and maintaining warehouse equipment and fleet operations.

Communicating and coordinating with internal departments and external customers.

Ensuring on-time delivery service for all internal and external customers.

Ensuring the availability and ordering of required warehouse supplies, consumables, and equipment.

Monitoring KPIs against defined targets and implementing corrective actions in case of deviations.

Your ideal background

Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, including previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar management role.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills.

Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.

Excellent communication skills in English, with strong interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams while demonstrating initiative and a results-driven mindset.
