Project Accountant

Location: Bothell, WA Onsite

Salary: $77,000 - $85,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities for the Project Accountant:

• Process accounts payable, invoices, check runs, and company credit card reconciliations.
  
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate project-related general ledger activity.
  
  • Support project billings and assist with accounts receivable collections.
  
  • Reconcile contracts, subcontracts, AP, and AR accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  • Assist with project closeout and final financial documentation.

Qualifications for the Project Accountant:

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within construction, general contracting, or project-based industries.
  
  • Strong background in AP, AR, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
  
  • Experience with construction accounting software such as Procore, Viewpoint Vista, Sage 300 CRE, or similar platforms.
  
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
