Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer, not a Mechanical Engineer III.

Documents data and decisions in a detailed and structured manner
Adapts presentation style to the audience
Presents complex technical data concisely

Roles & Responsibilities

Translating business and user requirements into system requirements.

Developing verification strategies and reviewing verification results to confirm system requirements are met.

Developing and following up on system design FMEA that feeds into module design FMEAs.

Setting up the database used by the project team to document outputs of the V-model process.

Communicating V-model maturity during product development to management.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
At least 2 years of experience in a product development environment, with a focus on requirements management using DOORS or similar systems (preferred), and compliance with Subpart C of the Quality System Regulation (preferred).
At least 1 year of experience applying Design for Six Sigma methods and tools.
