Mechanical Engineering Manager

Step into an exciting opportunity as a Mechanical Engineering Manager  this role, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians while managing the performance of a complete product line. You will play a key part in driving product innovation, improving manufacturing processes, and ensuring Romac continues to deliver high quality American made waterworks products that support sustainable water distribution.

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure product line success and team growth.
• Manage the full lifecycle of new product development from concept to market release.
• Apply technical expertise to integrate innovative features, resolve production challenges, and uphold quality standards.
• Drive process improvements, cost reduction efforts, and ROI analysis for product and tooling initiatives.
• Collaborate across sales, operations, marketing, and quality to align on goals and deliver customer‑focused solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7 or more years of experience in mechanical engineering with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to solve problems, improve processes, and deliver results.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Solid Works and MS Office, comfortable with hand and power tools.

$120,000 - $160,000 per year
