Position: Permanent Music Teacher Collegiate
Shape young musicians’ futures at Botwood Collegiate as a full-time Music Teacher, starting September 8, 2026. Engage students through diverse teaching duties while fostering an inclusive learning environment.

This role requires a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Music Education. You will create a supportive atmosphere focusing on student success and collaboration. Candidates must be prepared to discuss how they align with the 8 Standards of Practice for Classroom Teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach music and additional subjects as assigned

• Plan and implement responsive and effective educational strategies

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborate with families and the community for student engagement

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music Education required

• NL Teaching Certificate – Level IV or higher

• Proven experience in choral and instrumental music

• Ability to engage with colleagues and community

• Demonstrated love of learning and teaching
