** About the Role
** Ampersand Therapy is hiring a
** Special Education Teacher
** to support students in an autism classroom serving elementary and middle school students in
** Boulder, CO**. You’ll provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and create a structured, supportive learning environment tailored to students’ academic, behavioral, and developmental needs. You’ll partner with a collaborative school district and receive support from our therapist-owned and operated team.##

** What You’ll Do
*** Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
* Provide specialized instruction tailored to students’ needs
* Support students with autism through structured routines and individualized strategies
* Implement positive behavior support strategies and maintain a supportive classroom environment
* Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
* Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
* Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support diverse learning needs##
** What We’re Looking For**
* ** Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
*** Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
* Experience supporting students with autism preferred
* School-based experience preferred, but not required##
