About the Role:

Medtronic is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II to join our team in Boulder, CO. This role focuses on supplier quality management, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple product lines. You’ll ensure suppliers meet rigorous quality standards, lead audits, support new product development, and play a key role in patient safety and product reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
  • Qualify new suppliers and administer Certified Supplier Programs.
  • Conduct supplier audits to ensure GMP and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on product acceptance, control plans, and Supplier Owned Quality deployment.
  • Support Pre-Market Supplier Quality activities for new product development.
  • Investigate and resolve supplier-related issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.

Required

Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in supplier quality or related roles in manufacturing/medical device environments.
  • Experience with supplier audits, qualification processes, PPAP, and maintaining Approved Supplier Lists.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Science (advanced degree is a plus).

  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
