Hydraulic Power Systems ,Air Management Systems ,and Environmental Control Systems (ECS).Inthisrole,youwillworkacrosssystemarchitecture,performance analysis,modelingandsimulation, supplier collaboration,and certification-readydesigntodeliverrobustaerospacesystemsforafirst-of-its-kind aircraft.

This is an opportunity for an experienced systems engineer who thrives in fast moving environments, enjoys solving complex multidisciplanary problems, and can independently drive technical work from concept through execution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate, and maintain systems level models for environmental control and hydraulic power systems using Simulink, MATLAB, Python, among other tools.
• Performanalysesrelatedtothermalmanagement,airflow,pressure control,fluid dynamics,andsystemintegration.
• Supportsystemarchitecturedefinition,requirements development,andverificationplanning.
• InterpretandapplyFAAPart
  25regulationstoensurecompliancethroughoutdesignanddevelopment.
• Leadtechnicalinteractionswithsuppliers,includingreviewingdesigns,managing deliverables,and ensuring alignmentwithprogramrequirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support aircraft level integration and trade studies, including providing 3D layouts of equipment in CATIA.
• Preparecleartechnicaldocumentation,analysis reports,andpresentationsforinternalandexternalstakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’sor Master’sdegreein
  
  Aerospace
  
  Engineering,Mechanical Engineering,orarelatedfield.
• 8+yearsofrelevantexperienceinaircraftsystemsengineering,fluid systems,environmentalcontrolsystems,hydraulics,thermal systems,orrelatedaerospacesystems.
• Strongexperiencewith Simulink,MATLAB,and Pythonformodeling,simulation,anddataanalysis.
• Solidunderstandingofenvironmentalcontrolsystems,hydraulic systems,orrelatedaircraftsubsystems.
• Abilitytoworkindependently,set priorities,anddrivetaskstocompletionwithminimaloversight.
• Excellentcommunicationskillsandacollaborativemindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• FamiliaritywithFAAPart
  25certificationrequirementsandaircraftdevelopmentprocesses.
• Experiencemanagingsuppliersorexternalpartners,includingtechnicalreviewsandscheduleoversight.
• Experience supporting aircraft-level integration, system layouts, or equipment placement using CATIA or similar 3D design tools.
