Sr. Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $40.00 to $50.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Accounting Lead to ensure timely and accurate period-end closings and financial disclosures
• Execute and validate monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting schedules
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in the general ledger
• Deliver analytical support to operations and manufacturing teams through ad-hoc reporting and recommendations
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting packages and disclosures
• Strong Net Suite experience
• Multi-entity and international close experience

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting or audit functions
• Show a strong foundation in general ledger accounting and period-end close processes
• Apply knowledge of cost tracking and overhead allocation methodologies
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support financial operations
• Use financial systems and tools to support reporting accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Bring experience working in global or cross-border corporate environments
• Understand financial workflows in production-based or technology-driven industries
• Maintain and refine cost allocation methods for manufacturing operations
• Provide guidance and technical support to accounting staff and clerical personnel
