Quality Control Technician II, NGS

About the Role

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, is committed to accelerating progress in genomics and life sciences. The Quality Control Technician II, NGS will work both independently and as part of a team to test next‑generation sequencing kit reagents, following established procedures and ISO 13485 guidelines. This on‑site role reports to the xGen Value Stream Leader and is based in Boulder, CO.

• Apply analytical skills, scientific methods, or operational processes to perform next‑generation library preparation and other molecular biology techniques using clearly defined standard operating procedures.
• Perform complex data entry and analysis, and peer review for good documentation practices, consistency, and accuracy in accordance with lab procedures.
• Perform daily lab duties including inventory replenishment, reagent preparation, routine equipment maintenance, and laboratory cleaning and organization in accordance with good lab practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in a life‑science field. (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry, or related) is required; alternatively, an Associate’s degree with at least 2 years of IDT experience.
• Minimum 2 years of applicable laboratory experience.
• Demonstrated skills working with next‑generation sequencing technologies, including library preparation and data analysis.

• Master’s degree in life sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.) or related field.
• Experience working in a regulated environment, especially ISO 13485.

The hourly range for this role is $27/hr–$31/hr the position is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
