Summary:Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking experienced Medical Assistants and/or medically trained candidates to join our local Resource Team. This is a benefits‑eligible position with flexible scheduling options—full‑time (32–40 hours per week), Monday through Friday. The position is based at our Broadway clinic location at 2750 Broadway St, Boulder, CO 80304. The Resource Team is ideal for those who enjoy variety and the opportunity to work across multiple areas of care.

- Experience working with both primary care and specialty care clinics.
- Perform clinic administrative duties, including answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifying patient information, patient check‑in/out, and coordinating accurate patient appointments.
- Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring proper equipment is present and the room is adequately stocked.
- Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record system.
- Must be able to recognize and identify patient symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in the course of action.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned.
- Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed.
- Completion of Medical Assistant education. Certification is not required but preferred.
- Other completed medical training, education, and proof of active certification is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials (examples include but are not limited to: EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.).
- Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials.
- College graduates with a completed four (4) year bachelor's degree are an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials. College transcripts must reflect completed health science coursework. Please submit a copy of your unofficial college transcripts at the time of applying.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic setting, preferred.
- Starting hourly pay range: $18.91 - $25.21 per hour (full pay range is $18.91 - $28.36).
This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.
