Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking experienced Medical Assistants and/or medically trained candidates to join our local Resource Team. This is a benefits‑eligible position with flexible scheduling options—full‑time (32–40 hours per week), Monday through Friday. The position is based at our Broadway clinic location at 2750 Broadway St, Boulder, CO 80304. • Experience working with both primary care and specialty care clinics.

• Perform clinic administrative duties, including answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifying patient information, patient check‑in/out, and coordinating accurate patient appointments.
• Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies.
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring proper equipment is present and the room is adequately stocked.
• Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record system.

• Must be able to recognize and identify patient symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in the course of action.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned.
• Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed.

• Completion of Medical Assistant education. Certification is not required but preferred.
• Other completed medical training, education, and proof of active certification is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials (examples include but are not limited to: EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.).
• Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials.
• College graduates with a completed four (4) year bachelor's degree are an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials. College transcripts must reflect completed health science coursework. Please submit a copy of your unofficial college transcripts at the time of applying.

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic setting, preferred.

• Starting hourly pay range: $18.91 - $25.21 per hour (full pay range is $18.91 - $28.36).

This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.
