Senior DevSecOps Engineer, Secret Clearance

Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled and security-minded Senior Dev Sec Ops  Engineer to join our mission-driven team. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in secure software development, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD practices. You’ll be instrumental in embedding security into every phase of our development lifecycle.

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Integrate security tools and practices into Dev Ops workflows (e.g., SAST, DAST, container scanning)
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure compliance and resilience
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in cloud-native environments
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and promote Dev Sec Ops  best practices across the organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Dev Ops, Security Engineering, or related disciplines
• Active Secret Clearance (required)
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, OWASP, CIS Benchmarks)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, etc.)

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Certified Security
• Experience with zero-trust architectures and secure software supply chain practices
• Familiarity with compliance requirements (FedRAMP, DoD RMF, etc.)

Salary range for the position is $175,000 - $195,000 per year. Specific compensation will be determined by several factors including experience, education, skills, and knowledge. We also offer medical/dental/vision benefits and 401k contribution.
