Associate, Operational Continuity & Compliance

Join KPMG US as an Associate in the Digital Nexus Technology team, contributing to operational continuity and compliance initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support compliance initiatives, including audit and monitoring, corrective action plans, and advanced data analytics.
  • Oversee and continuously improve user access management, ensuring alignment with internal policies and industry best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and root cause analyses to identify potential compliance gaps, escalating issues and driving remediation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all compliance matters, including corrective action plans, issue summaries and executive reports.
  • Leverage advanced analytical skills to identify emerging risks and recommend enhancements to compliance frameworks.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities, serving as a subject‑matter expert.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, promoting a culture of integrity and accountability.
  • Act with professionalism to uphold KPMG’s respectful work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of recent experience in data analysis, compliance, and user access management, preferably within regulated environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, business administration or related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency with SQL, Databricks (Azure), Alteryx, Power BI and experience with SharePoint and Power Apps.
  • Strong project‑management and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex compliance requirements and design digital work spaces for compliance operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
