Position SummaryThe Database Developer II plays a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of our core database. This position is responsible for ensuring the highest possible completeness, timeliness, quality, and integrity of Yes Energy's power infrastructure data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database development methodologies and will be a key contributor to technical standards and best practices.
- Salary range: $90,000 - $114,000, depending on Experience

Director of Content Engineering - Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
- Database Architecture & Development: Architect and design database tables to support new applications and optimize existing ones. Develop and maintain a variety of database objects, including stored procedures, views, and functions for Yes Energy's applications. This includes the creation and management of database objects and the establishment and maintenance of object relationships to ensure data integrity and functionality. Maintain and update existing database packages, procedures, views, metadata systems, and related internal tools.
- Data Integrity & Quality: Actively monitor daily processes to ensure reliability, efficiency, and quality of data delivery. Take ownership of data integrity, quality, and completeness, with a focus on ensuring the timeliness of Yes Energy data.
- Data Migration & Systems Coordination: Plan and coordinate data migrations between various systems, ensuring a seamless and accurate transition of data.
- Process & Standards Contribution: Contribute to the development and implementation of technical departmental standards, including change control, configuration management, development methodology, documentation and coding standards. This helps ensure a cohesive and high-quality development environment.
- At least 3 years of related experience
- 3+ years of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and database architecture experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of database best practices
- Energy markets experiences is a significant plus
- Familiarity with SOC2 compliance
- Working knowledge of Liquibase, github and Jira
- Experience with integrating geospatial data is highly desirable
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Familiarity with integrating AI/ML
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
