The Network Communications Engineer serves as a subject matter expert, collaborating with multiple tenants and external providers on outages, testing, upgrades, and related activities. Responsibilities include identifying configuration items, implementing change control, and conducting configuration audits.
Requirements include 7 years of relevant experience, Security+/CCNP/CASP+/SCCP+ or equivalent certification per DoD 8140, and a current TS Clearance with SCI eligibility. A Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph may be required if not already on file.
Preferred experience includes working in classified government facilities and SCIF environments, supporting computer labs or data farms, managing network connections to government networks, and supporting multiple enclave and classification level environments.
The salary range for this position in Maryland is $150,000 to $240,000, with final compensation based on experience. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, paid disability and life insurance, education assistance, and wellness programs.
