Summary:

** We are seeking an Associate Support Engineer to provide Tier 1 support and maintain internally developed equipment across lab and production environments. This role involves hands-on hardware work, RF cabling, system troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure support. The ideal candidate will have foundational level technical ability, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

* • Bachelor's degree.
OR  Associate's degree and 1+ year of technical or related work experience.
OR  High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of technical or related work experience.

Key Responsibilities
· Test Equipment Support & Maintenanceo Install, configure, and maintain internally built test systems and platform so Support system upgrades, modifications, and hardware integrations
· Hardware & RF Worko Execute RF cabling, connector installation, and signal path verificationo Perform hardware installations including installing system components in racks and hardware upgrades.o Troubleshoot RF and hardware-related issues to ensure optimal system performance
· Troubleshooting & Diagnosticso Diagnose system issues using Linux command line toolso Support issue resolution across hardware, software, and network layers
· IT Infrastructure Supporto Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of servers, network switches, and lab IT systems§ Being able to determine if hardware is faulty and setting up replacement hardwareo Support system connectivity, configuration, and network stabilityo Collaborate with IT teams for escalations and system improvements
· Inventory & Asset Managemento Track, manage, and maintain internal and external (commercial) test equipment inventoryo Support equipment audits, lifecycle management, and asset documentationo Coordinate movement and allocation of lab assets as needed
· Calibration & Site Supporto Assist during calibration events and site-wide maintenance activitieso Coordinate with calibration teams to ensure equipment readiness
· Documentation & Communicationo Maintain accurate records of work performed, issues, and resolutions through Service Now work orders and tickets.o Provide clear updates to stakeholders on system status and progresso Contribute to process improvements and standard operating procedure so Contribute to technical papers by adding to or creating Confluence pages.  

Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with test equipment calibration processes
· Familiarity with automated test systems or lab environments
· Experience working with internal/custom-built hardware platforms
· Basic scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar) for troubleshooting/automation---Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift and move heavy equipment using appropriate tools and safety practices
· Frequent bending, pulling, and handling of equipment and cables
