Base pay range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Full‑time associates in the role are eligible for an annual bonus incentive and sales referral bonuses. Temporary associates are not benefit eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725, for qualified associates who have been with us for at least a year.

Responsibilities
  • Under direct supervision of an Executive Director, responsible for all operations, acting as contact for all staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies, and the public.
  • Supervises, directs, and motivates staff; maintains superior training and morale; ensures training programs are effectively executed.
  • Maintains high resident satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high‑quality services; leads staff and residents to proactively solve problems and resolve issues; administers annual resident satisfaction survey.
  • Executes renewal program with existing residents, ensuring the highest renewal rate possible.
  • In conjunction with the Executive Director, develops annual operating and capital budgets; maintains budget accountability; aggressively anticipates and minimizes negative budget variances and deficits; meets and exceeds budget occupancy goals; explores revenue enhancement and expense reduction.
  • Hires, trains, disciplines, and terminates employees in accordance with company policies; reviews hires, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations with consistency.
  • Ensures buildings, grounds, and property meet company standards through oversight of preventive maintenance systems and programs; conducts frequent inspections meeting excellence standards.
  • Maintains current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses in accordance with all requirements.
  • Fosters creativity among staff to deliver the highest quality and optimum services; maintains a stable atmosphere; acts as a member of Resident Counsel.
  • Develops and maintains a positive image with the community; becomes active in local civic affairs; represents the facility and company to governmental agencies, professional organizations, community groups, and public agencies.
  • Conducts department head meetings weekly; hosts quarterly associate meetings to review safety, aging issues, and building issues; holds quarterly residential meetings.
  • Keeps current on competitive projects and programs in the marketplace.
