The Manufacturing Technology Center Manager will lead innovative initiatives, drive operational improvements, and foster a collaborative environment where your voice is heard and your ideas matter. We are growing our Global Manufacturing team and the ideal candidate will create and promote a relevant and sustainable vision for the global organization.
- Lead and manage the Manufacturing Technology Center, ensuring alignment with Emerson’s strategic goals.
- Drive innovation and implement new technologies to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Support sustainability initiatives and contribute to a safer, smarter workplace.
You experiment with a wide range of existing technologies while applying new and emerging options that can enhance organizational outcomes. You find and champion the best creative ideas and actively move them into implementation. You think globally and excel at viewing issues on a worldwide basis. You set aggressive goals and have high standards. You leverage each team member’s unique background to achieve team goals.
You maintain relationships across a variety of functions and locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years in developing and deploying manufacturing equipment with experience in leading teams, process development, and project management.
- Demonstrated experience designing discrete manufacturing equipment from concept to implementation, managing resources, timelines, and budgets.
- Proven leadership experience in interdisciplinary manufacturing technologies or similar roles.
- Proven ability to guide the adoption and integration of new manufacturing technologies, tools, and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
- Experience working with global teams
- Ability to travel internationally as required
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Professional Engineer License
- Experience with sustainability initiatives in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
