Coating Technician I (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: $20-$24/hour (based on experience)

Location:

Boulder, CO
Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
• → Includes
• $2.00/hour shift differential
• Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

→ Includes 12% shift differential

Job Store Staffing is now hiring for a Coating Technician I to join a leading manufacturing company in Boulder, CO. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with growth potential for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who are eager to build a career in advanced manufacturing.

Position Overview:

As a Coating Technician I, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and inspecting optical components used in high-precision equipment. You'll support operations by ensuring proper setup and loading of coating chambers while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and inspect optical substrates for defects or contamination
• Perform spin cleaning on small optics
• Prepare parts and tooling for coating processes
• Load/unload parts into vacuum coating chambers
• Package optical components for next stage or shipment
• Read and interpret process documentation and work instructions
• Handle chemicals safely and follow all FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control protocols
• Support 6S workplace organization practices
• Assist with basic incoming inspections
• Participate in ongoing safety training and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in a process manufacturing or cleanroom environment is a plus
• Comfortable with physical work - must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Background check and drug test required
