ICC, a statewide program of Northwest Youth Corps (NYC), applies a combination of service, education, and career coaching to help youth and young adults protect, restore, and enhance public lands and waterways in the Gem State and our Northwest neighbor states.
Annually, NYC crews carry out 180,000 hours of projects such as wildfire fuels reduction, invasive plant removal, riparian planting, stream restoration, tree planting, and trail maintenance for a variety of federal, state, and local partners.
Participants leave Idaho Conservation Corps knowing that they can overcome obstacles, make friends, and succeed in their chosen career path.
