Veterinary Receptionist​/Client Service Representative

Pet Menders Animal Hospital in Boulder, CO is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services.

Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $ 17 - $22 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a full-time or part-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Tuesday - Friday from 7:45am - 5:30pm and Saturdays 9:45am - 5:30pm.

M
inimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Covertrus Pulse,preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
