Quality Control Specialist – GMP Manufacturing

The Quality Control Specialist supports the company’s GMP quality program by performing routine QC inspections, documentation reviews, and material sampling activities. This role ensures that incoming ingredients, packaging components, in‑process materials, and finished products meet established specifications. The Specialist works closely with Production and reports to the Operations/Quality Manager.
Responsibilities- Perform routine QC inspections of incoming ingredients, packaging components, in‑process materials, and finished products.
- Review documentation and sampling data to verify compliance with specifications.
- Document and report findings, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure traceability throughout the QC process.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and QA teams to resolve quality issues.
- Familiarity with GMPs.
- Lab experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent understanding of QA/QC processes.
- Ability to follow SOPs accurately.
- Excellent time management and project management skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
