Sales Associate / Material Handler

• Ensure customer and donor needs are met with a genuine greeting and courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items and merchandise the sales floor.
• Assist in the maintenance of the store and donation area, keeping it clean, neat and organized.
• Follow all POS/Cash Register policies in accordance with TSA policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Attend required monthly store meetings.
• Receive, unload and stock incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
• Provide quality assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Assist donors in removing donated items from their vehicle and provide receipts.
• Separate and sort all donated material into the proper containers and stack material as instructed.
• Perform other written and/or verbal duties as may be assigned by management.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Must accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Must pass a background check (criminal history and sex offender registry).
• Effective communication with management, fellow staff, customers and donors.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as carts, fixtures, furniture dollies and miscellaneous carts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Stores operate 7 days per week from 9am to 8pm. Part‑time associates may be scheduled for any shift, including evenings, weekends and holidays to ensure adequate coverage.
