Become part of the dedicated Retail Team at The Salvation Army! Together, we serve and impact our community through the Boulder Thrift Store, supporting the Women's Rehabilitation Program. This role involves promoting a positive shopping/donor experience, customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:- Greet customers and donors, providing courteous assistance.
- Stock and merchandize items on the sales floor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and donation areas.
- Follow POS/Cash Register Policies and safety standards.
- Attend monthly store meetings.
- Receive, unload, and stock inventory accurately.
- Inspect products for defects and damages.
- Assist donors with donations and provide receipts.
- Sort and stack donated materials properly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Ability to operate POS/Cash Register accurately.
- Pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive motions.
Stores operate 7 days a week, 9am-8pm. Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
