What You’ll Do- Be the Customer Champion:
Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team‑based selling model. Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies. - Drive Sales Success:
Achieve sales targets by increasing case growth and acquiring new business through impactful presentations and tailored approaches. Effectively manage time and territory. - Team Based Selling:
Collaborate with Specialists on penetration opportunities and new account openings. Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery. - Lead with Insight:
Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence databases, business directories, leads from existing clients, and trade shows. - Delivery Resolution:
Manage deliveries according to the transportation department’s routing schedule and troubleshoot order‑process problems such as mis‑picks, short loads, or stock‑outs. - Competitive Advantage:
Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ offerings; share this information with customers as part of value‑added services. - Stay on the Move:
Use your personal vehicle to conduct regular check‑ins, site visits, and follow‑ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
- No direct reports.
- Daily outside office, visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions.
Expected coverage includes, but may not be limited to:
Westminster, Superior, Louisville, Lafayette, Boulder, Erie, and Gunbarrel.
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor‑vehicle record.
- Food service industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold‑call to develop new business.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals.
- Problem‑solving, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Team‑up mentality to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Tech‑savvy – proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs.

CompensationCompensation depends on experience, education, skills, function, and location. Expected base rate: $50,000 – $90,000.
