CBRE is inviting applications for a Maintenance Technician in Boulder. The role is part of our Global Workplace Solutions team, focused on providing high‑quality hard‑services and facility management solutions.
About the RoleAs a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will maintain small to medium‑sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. You will provide preventive maintenance, repairs, and support across mechanical, electrical, and building systems, ensuring compliance with codes and efficient operation.
What You’ll Do- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
- Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job‑related experience (or a comparable combination of education and experience).
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role (stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more).
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Minimum rate: $20.91 per hour
Maximum rate: $27.88 per hour
The compensation offered will depend on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
