Overview
Location: On-Site, Full-Time (Includes Evening Hours)
Red Ribbon Recovery - COLORADO is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic Case Manager to join our team. This role is key in ensuring that clients receive the highest quality care through coordinated case management, group facilitation, and intake support. The Case Manager will manage a caseload, assist with clients’ legal and employment-related needs, run daily groups, and guide new clients through the intake process.
This position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with clinical staff.
Client Intake & Onboarding
- Facilitate new client intakes, including obtaining signed consents, completing outcome measurements, and conducting assessments.
- Orient clients to program expectations and available services.
Case Management
- Maintain and manage a personal caseload.
- Assist clients with legal matters, including court coordination and probation/parole communication.
- Support clients with FMLA, short-term disability, and other work-related documentation needs.
- Coordinate outside appointments for services not offered in-house.
- Advocate for clients and connect them with community resources.
Group Facilitation
- Facilitate psycho-educational and skills-based groups on addiction recovery, coping skills, and wellness—almost daily.
- Foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive group environment.
Documentation & Compliance
- Use the KIPU EMR system to document client interactions, maintain accurate case notes, and update treatment plans.
- Ensure all documentation meets program and regulatory standards.
Collaboration & Problem-Solving
- Respond to client needs and situations as they arise, often requiring quick thinking and independent decision-making.
- Work closely with the clinical team to support treatment goals.
Schedule
- Full-time, on-site role with two evening shifts per week (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM) in addition to three day shifts. Possible Saturdays in the future as the agency grows.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience working with individuals in substance use disorder or mental health programs
- Ability to facilitate groups and work with diverse populations
- Proficiency in basic computer systems; ability to learn EMR software (KIPU experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field
- Experience in both case management and group facilitation
- Knowledge of community resources and recovery support systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- High level of adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Empathy, patience, and non-judgmental approach
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting demands
