The Python Software Engineer develops scripts, applications, and solutions across the full suite of Audio, Video, Control -- and Building System spaces -- focusing on solving the problems that can’t be solved traditionally. The team focuses at the intersection of physical spaces, AV systems, building systems, and artificial intelligence. • Write python code to support research, AI, and data activities within the applied research team.
• Code review and ideation.
• Support demonstrations, lab activities, and tradeshow presence.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• Fluent knowledge of Python and implementation across Windows and Linux required.
• Experience with Lang Chain, MCP, RAG A2A required
• Experience with typical python libraries (async, json, typing, pandas, scikit‑learn, etc.) required
• Experience with Docker required.
• Experience in BMS (Building Management Services) or A/V (Audio/Visual) systems and programming a plus.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure a plus.
• Experience with Weights and Biases a plus.

The range for this position is $93,000 to $167,400. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
